About this qualification
SIT30622 Certificate III in Hospitality reflects the role of people with well-developed hospitality service, sales or operational skills and sound knowledge of industry operations.
Learners use discretion and judgement, work with some independence and operate under supervision using workplace plans, policies and procedures. The qualification allows for multiskilling and specialisation in accommodation services, food and beverage or gaming.
Packaging rules
15 units must be completed:
- 6 core units
- 9 elective units, including the required units from the qualification groups and a selection guided by the intended job outcome and local industry needs
There are no entry requirements for this qualification.
Career pathways
Graduates may work in restaurants, hotels, motels, clubs, pubs, cafés and coffee shops across service, sales and operational roles.
