About this qualification
SIT30821 Certificate III in Commercial Cookery reflects the role of cooks who use a wide range of well-developed cookery skills and sound knowledge of kitchen operations to prepare food and menu items.
Learners use discretion and judgement, work with some independence and follow plans, policies and procedures. Completion contributes to recognition as a trade cook and provides a pathway into commercial kitchens.
Packaging rules
25 units must be completed:
- 20 core units
- 5 elective units, selected according to the qualification packaging rules and an industry-supported vocational outcome
